May 23, 2017 (Houston, TX) - Capstone welcomes Emily Haluska, MBA, CPCU, ARe to its team as Senior Underwriting Analyst.
Ms. Haluska reports to David Overbeck, CPCU, ARM, CIC, Capstone's Director of Insurance Operations, and works closely with Capstone’s in-house team of CPCUs, ARMs, and The Feldman Law Firm to provide underwriting services to clients. These services include risk profile analysis, policy selection, coverage renewals, pricing, policy recommendations, and claims handling.

Originally from Texas, Ms. Haluska completed her underwriting training in New York City at Chubb Corporation (formerly ACE), the world’s largest publicly-traded property & casualty insurance company. After the program’s completion, she served as an underwriter at Chubb/ACE and later, at Liberty International Underwriters, a Liberty Mutual subsidiary.
Ms. Haluska holds multiple insurance designations, including being a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), an Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) (both awarded by The Institutes), and holding a Certificate in Professional Liability (awarded by the Professional Liability Underwriting Society). She is currently pursuing the RPLU (Registered Professional Liability Underwriter).
Ms. Haluska earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a double concentration in Finance and Marketing from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and International Business from The University of Texas at Austin.
