Post Oak Tower is located in the Galleria itself. The
University Club is on the 3rd Floor of our building.
When facing the Galleria from Westheimer (looking south),
Post Oak Tower is the 22 story building (also known
as Burlington Resources Tower) immediately to the west
(to the right) of the Westin Oaks Hotel. The closest
Galleria entrance to Post Oak Tower is immediately opposite
(to the south of) FAO Schwartz, which store is on the
north side of Westheimer.
Entry at non-peak times: Drive directly into the Galleria
and park one story underground. An underground entrance
from this lower level is marked "Post Oak Tower."
The underground drive entrance (Galleria Entrance No.
2) is a straight shot off Westheimer, just opposite
the large "F.A.O. Schwartz" in the plaza on
the north side of Westheimer. Post Oak Tower is between
"Lord & Taylor" and "The Cheesecake
Factory."
Entry at peak times: Park above ground on the Westheimer-side
of the Galleria. There is an unattended timed parking
lot directly outside the front of Post Oak Tower. A
street level, automated parking machine between Lord
& Taylor and Westheimer (another machine is just
inside the main entrance to the Galleria just west of
the Cheesecake Factory) validates your parking, with
fees ranging from $2 for one hour to $9 upward. Alternatively,
during busy times, you might consider entering the Galleria
from Post Oak Blvd., near Neiman Marcus, driving toward
Tiffany and then taking the ramp down two levels where
parking is free. The entrance to Post Oak Tower is just
to the west of where you'd be parking (see staircase)
and is usually the last to fill up.
A third parking option is to enter the Galleria from
West Alabama, where immediately past the Westin Galleria
Hotel (and while still under the passageway to Galleria
IV) you will make a left (north) into Galleria Entrance
No. 8, go down two levels, and continue driving north
towards Westheimer. At the point you are under Lord
& Taylor, you may park and walk underground about
100 yards to the east to Post Oak Tower.
A fourth parking option is the valet parking offered
outside The Cheesecake Factory entrance.
